Job Summary:
The Production Operator is responsible for operating molding presses and related equipment in a safe, efficient, and consistent manner. This role ensures that molds and tools are correctly maintained, production requirements are met, and finished parts meet all quality standards. The Production Operator follows detailed work instructions, monitors equipment conditions, accurately records production data, and supports continuous improvement and housekeeping initiatives. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and able to work well within a team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensure all equipment, tools, and work areas are clean and in good working order throughout the shift.
· Adjust weights, lubricate molds, and follow prescribed press times, mold temperatures, and other process requirements as outlined on the traveler.
· Operate molding presses safely and efficiently, following all safety and quality procedures.
· Inspect parts for defects and report any quality concerns to the shift lead immediately.
· Maintain accurate and timely records of production output, material usage, and efficiency.
· Regularly monitor mold temperature, press pressure, and other key process variables.
· Report equipment malfunctions or abnormalities to the shift lead right away.
· Clean molds between heats as needed to maintain part quality and process consistency.
· Place finished products into properly labeled storage bins with all required information.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with housekeeping standards.
· Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and meet delivery schedules.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.
· Follow all relevant IATF 16949 policies, procedures, and work instructions.
· Comply with company safety, PPE, and drug and alcohol policies.

· Ability to read and write in English to maintain records and complete reports.
· Basic math skills to calculate production counts and analyze simple data.
